Taxable Value x .04 (Primary Residence) = Assessed Value x Millage Rate (per your District)* = Gross Tax
Assessed Value x .1049 (School Credit) = Tax Credit
Gross Tax - Tax Credit + $96 (Tax Fee) = Tax Owed

Example:
Step 1: $423,700 x .04 =$16,948 x .1989 (Millage District 41) = $3,370.96

Step 2: $16,948 x .1049 = $1,777.85

Step 3: $3,370.96 - $1,777.85 + $96 = $1,689.11
